Hey there
I am the owner of an 87 laser ghia. its been a fantastic car and I really love it but recently I've had a really annoying problem with it. Once the car heats up after a kilometre or so, the brakes stick on. I've changed the brake pads, bled the brakes and changed the master cylinder but the problem still persists. Does anyone have any suggestions? Cheers, Chris |

machine the drums and rotors what ever fitted
possibly out of round or warping streched handbrake cables also check the calipers for sticking / replace the rear wheel cyliders if fitted

Hey, thanks so much for your help thus far. I have a bit more information from my dad now. It is only the front passenger side brake that is getting stuck. Usually the car will start fine in the morning and then as it the car heats up the brake begins to stick. Its also worse in warm weather. As I said the master cylinder has been replaces, the calliper on the front left wheel has been rebuilt and already new brake pads have been worn out due to the sticky brake. The slides have been cleaned and greased.. perhaps there is some gunk in the brake line fluid system? The fluid has already been replaced. Also, the disc on the front left wheel is a bit damaged maybe this could be causing a problem? The worn brakes left an indent. Cheers

yes the rotors should have been machined
from what you are discribing it might be warped
