the less people on gas the better.
to all you haters out there, keep it that way.
those of us on LPG who can maintain our vehicles will enjoy the benefits.

even with LPG at its high costs in melb (65cpl) its still under 1/2 the price of petrol.

i have had my gas system (parnell - mixer type) and have had 0 problems with it. no backfiring, stalled only 3 times since i got it (had for about 1 year).

highly recommend it. i filled up today $36.40. i get about 300k's out of a tank- semi city driving and i can strech it out to 380k's freeway driving.

There is no reason at all that a car on gas will play up IF you look after it.

I get over 350km out of a 65l usable tank, city driving. Don't do much freeway driving, but I remember last years trip to Wagga I managed to get almost 500km on a tank. Pretty good for a 5l I reckon. My workmate who converted his EL 5l is getting even better mileage, but his driving style is more sensible than mine lol.

EL is probably the same too. The V8s may be a different story, but even then, the old mixer ring vapour style works well enough, and it won't cost you much more than the $2k rebate.
the new sprint svi system has the ability to go batch as well as semi sequential, the old one could also do batch, as well as full sequential, ef and el's are both semi sequential so as long as the installer knows what they are doing it can be set up to run with svi. it also has options of straight lpg ans primary lpg (ie start on gas and use petrol as the backup fuel)
