Default What does *this* button do?

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....555876700&rd=1

I dunno how long the link will still work for after the auction ends. It's the button next to the rear demist button... Can anyone shed any light on what this button is? (I need my curiosity satisfied!)

Cheers,

-Dave-

It releases an oil slick (was fitted to Cop cars).

Yes but it's from a 5 litre car. :hihi:

The buttons get chalky and I bought my demister button brand new. Set me back $29.

Hmmmmm, interesting! I wasn't looking at buying it, however I got a black climate control unit for $26 from the same seller ;)

So it's either an economy switch for a column shift, the washer/wiper button for a wagon, or an alternative aerial half/full switch location (my Ghia has it down next to the alarm, kind of on the opposite side of the steering column to the boot and fuel cap release buttons).

Or, an oil slick button! :

Thanks guys!

Definately the wagon's rear wiper. Looks the same as my parent's car.

Ha nice! I might have to drive the wagon more often. :hihi: I thought the fact my parents car is a 5 speed was cool enough! : That would show all these riced up Civics!

ejector seat! Works well with a sunroof, not so well without it!

my car is both a wagon and a column shift. that button is the rear windscreen washer and wiper button. the power/economy button is on the dash to the left of the steering colum above the pull-out handbrake.
