Default Water in headlight

Anyone know how to get water out of a headlight? It's sort of frosted up with drops all over the inside. It's veeeerrrrrry annoying!!! : Especially as the rest of the care is nice and clean.

We the only thing i can suggest is an im not 100% it will work for the AU headlight. But my EL had leaky indicators on the front. I removed the indicator, left it in the summer sun for a few hours, sealed it up on the outside at the back with 'Automotive Silicon', put here back in and never got any moisture in it from then on.

i had the same problem. remove the rubber and pull out your parkers and then drive with lights on and the water goes away. you need to take the parker out though so it has someway to escape

Used a hairdryer to dry mine out, take out globes and poke in hole

Silastic all joins so it doesn't happen again, although to do ALL joins you gotta take it out or the bumper half off anyway, maybe you'll be lucky and the leak will be in the top half, to find leak put spray n wipe (or similar) around joins and blow some air into light, leak will bubble.

I used to have the same problem, just remove the rubber at the back of the headlight and plug the loom back in. Went away in like a day of driving....

Has anyone had this problem with an AU Fairlane and if so what plan of attack did you have?

No, but the cure would be as above. A Fairlane is no more or less prone to these things than any other ford (I own a problem riddled NF - well, it was problem riddled, but now is mostly fixed).
