Default ECU - Where???

Ok i have a shift kit to install into my eb, problem is i think i found the ecu but none of the wires match up to those on the sheet! i need some serious help with this, i got no idea whats what (hopeless with electronics) please help me. the shift kit is from Shiftkits.com and its the stage 1

Check which model falcon the wiring is for. Earlier falcon 4 speed had a separate module for the transmission.

the trans control module is above the handbrake

by the way if you use the v8 wiring instructions it will make a lot more sense

should have two plugs both yellow going into it, one slightly bigger then the other.

im having trouble installing it, there is no wire comming out of pin 38 which is the wire im ment to cut! which one do i need to cut?? i have found the wire in pin 57 so thats all good.

alright she's in, with a bit of trouble not being able to find pin 38, i cut pin 40 and used that to connect the first two wires, pin 57 wasn't an issue, took it out for a drive and im not sure if its really working, the shifting seemed to be extremely smooth when i just had it in D and planted it, when using the gears it was a bit differant, still very very smooth change but it didn't do it when i wanted it to, 5000rpm intstead of 4250rpm is this just how they are or have i cut the wrong wire?? also i got my cd player in...finally yay!
