Got my ute

Hi all. Found my ute. Its an XH 98 model XR6 Manual. Looked under the bonnet and compared it to my mates AU and they look absolutely identical. I have a question though for all you guro's out there. I have under the bonnet all the workings for cruse control but I have an aftermarket steering wheel and nothing that indicates I have cruse control. No buttons ? Nothing ? What options do I have to get cruse working ? Any advice would be appreciated.
