Question Air Fuel Ratios

Hey everyone, just me trying to understand cars again :gren:

AFR's.... im pretty sure my EA's running faily rich, its drinking the fuel and the exhaust smells heaps like fuel, alot more than i thought it would.. Im going to get it back on the dyno to see whats going on one day, but just out of curisity, how does one change the AFR? is there a scew somewhere that limits something somewhere, or is it just a case of increasing air to bring the ratio down?

could someone that knows something about it pls explain it?

thnks, bender

... with a chip or by replacing the fuel pressure regulator

The tests walki is talking about will put the computer into diagnostic mode where it will tell you if any of the sensors are not working or if the engine is running too rich. Get yourself a $40 workshop manual and it will explain how to put it in diagnostic mode, and what all the blinks mean.
