i wanna get an alloy valve cover for a 2.0L ohc that says ford on the top of it not a chrome one because i think they look cheap and i was wondering were and how much?.

probably be rare man... mine is chrome and it looks great... you dont get that "showcar" shine becuase everything around the engine is dark coloured.

I had an Cast Alloy Rocker Cover on my old 2 Litre Ghia. I got it from a place called 4 Plus Performance and it had to be sealed with Silicon. I can't remember how much it cost.

The ones with FORD on are rare as they were an aftermarket cam cover available in the 70's. The burton ones have BURTON not FORD on and are very expensive $300+ freight.
Of the topic, but.....I have just got back from the UK. I was planning to bring back lots of parts but it is actually cheaper to buy direct from supplier on the net and get them to post it. Anything over 2kg cost about 50 quid ($100) to send via UK post. |
