Default BA GT ICC Problems

Hey guys.. bloody troubles with my BA GT.. I let my mate install my dvd player in the tissue box holder but the spastic didnt listen to me and stuffed my ICC. now, if i buy one from a wreckers can i just plug and play or do i need to get a specific one?

the car still starts but cant be driven as the screen wont come on and all the dash lights stay on (fuel, oil etc...) and the speedo and tacho dont work.

also to add to my drama he couldnt figure out the front speakers so could someone please tell me which wires are the front speakers that connect to the ICC.

NEVER AGAIN WILL I LET ANYONE TOUCH ANY OF MY CARS.

MINE HAS STUFFED UP ALSO. WHAT THEY DO IS RECONDITION THE FAULTY ONES AND EXCHANGE THEM FOR $500. DEALER THAT IS .

further more if you complete ICC HAS BEEN STUFFED INCLUDING THE PLAYER . YOUR LOOKING AT 4K ++ FOR A COMPLETE NEW ONE . YOU MAY GET A 2ND HAND ONE IF YOU CHECK OUT ftg salvage . they are a sponser here .
try ringing a dealer for some advice though . you may have just cost yourself a fortune . or your mate has anyhow.

sorry i forgot . also check out ASL . THEY ARE A SPONSER HERE ALSO , AND ARE THE ONES TO SPEAK TO ABOUT THIS , THEY ARE VERY HELPFULL. check out their site and contact them . hope you get it sorted cheers .

This is something that can be fixed. Looking in the hundreds not thousands so I wouldn't worry too much.

Speak to Fadi. He's left for the day but give him a call on Monday on 0397991444. He'll sort it for u.

Also for the front speakers, For the first timers I recommend tracing back from the speakers. It is very easy. Once your at the kick panel cut the wires and isolate from the ICC or you will blow the crap out of it again.

Cheers
