Yer doors are the same and will bolt straight on. I believe though that the front end wont just "bolt" on as such. I remember a few minor alterations need to be done (can't remember what), but nothing major as the EF-EL chassis is really just a refined version of the earlier models, so it's close enough to say that it can be fitted without much drama...

Doors fit at front, rear doors need a slight mod, radiator support and back to shock towers has to be grafted in from what I remember, someone on the forums (or the old ff) did this mod for the hell of it, I saw the car in the flesh looked pretty good actually, was different.

It wasn't a black or dark blue or dark green EB XR (6 or 8?) with an EL XR front end?
Looked kind of odd from memory, the rounded front end and a square rear! But to add weight to the previous answers, "yes, it can be done" -Dave- |

I remember the dark coloured EB XR.
It would be a pain to do that mod, but one guy in Qld put an XH (EF) front end on an XD-XF. Looked interesting. |

I know of an AU wagon with a BA front on it as well, owned by someone on these forums, dont recall the name, they said it was a huge effort to do it, and would not recommend doing it cause yuo feel like it .
OK now stay on topic people

And yes, I've seen the photo too. I was a fan of it, very different!
