Default NSW: South Western Belt 20/7

All,

To hell with fuel prices, I am busting for a run and on 20th July I am going for one.

Meet 20/07/2008 at Narellan Maccas, Narellan at 8am sharp.

Route is old hume highway (razor back, picton) into Mittagong, across to and down Jamberoo, into Berry and then home via Kangaroo valley. Depending on time the route may be extended...

Whether there be 1 or 100 attendees I am not fussed and I am going regardless.
Note: This will be a drivers cruise with minimal social chit chat..

See you there

Cheers

I'll let you know a bit closer to the date Ben.

Is this an official FPV-Tickford club cruise? Will we be stepping on toes again? And should I bring a fake build plate just in case?

No this ins't anything official with any club... This is me wanting to contribute my fair share to global warming, and done in style...

So what you are asking is if you have an automatic licence even if it is upgraded to manual automatically can it be upgraded manually by sitting for a manual test and if passed the automatic licence is automatically upgraded but if failed is the automaic licence automatically failed as well and do you have to read the road safety manual to sit for the manual upgrade or does the automatic licence test of the road safety manual automatically cover the manual test as well?

So for those who don't understand the rules of cruises and other events which involve driving on public roads here is a reminder.

Cruise is defined thus: .. to move to and fro, or from place to place for pleasure: (of a car, aeroplane, etc.) to move along easily at a moderate speed

1. Cruise attendees should conduct themselves in a manner that will not bring their club or this forum into disrepute.

2. Cruise attendees should observe the relevant road laws applicable to the State where their event is held whilst also bearing in mind the prevailing conditions.

3. Drivers on cruise based events should maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front at all times.

It is highly recommended that two way radio communication be used to maintain contact with larger groups of vehicles on cruise events as it is often difficult to avoid seperation in urban areas due to traffic lights and junctions.

The underlying factor is to be safe and to have an event that is enjoyable for all concerned. Rest assured that those who do not adhere to these rules will find themselves barred from future evetns and quite likely removed from this forum.

Regards
Russ
