Hey im running a 977b cam/ wade re-grind, The head is an EF xr6 head with different valves and aftermarket springs and retainers.. Problem is it valve bounces.. i know yay great after market springs ... What brand springs "other than jmm" are u guys running and what open and seated pressures

They come with the head.. The retainers are chrome molley, but have a higher installed heaight, as in the head of the valve is down in them... I have no idea what brand the springs are.. but there SOFT as...
Im thinking i need new springs and retainers... as i reckon even stockies would valve bounce with a cam this size |

Not sure what mine are - I just asked for some springs to handle the cam. They are only listed as "Performance valve springs" on the receipt, and they have been shimmed up a bit. Not much help sorry.
I think crow ones are pretty good.

Im running crow singles rated to 600'. Some say they are just XR6 some say they arent, but i havent noticed any valve bounce with my 1521a

if you want some of the crow ones my friend has an unused set that he has for sale. could bring them to the geelong meet this weekend if you want them... $100
