Default Shannons Classic Aussie Car Show

Back for it's 4th year, this year is again held at Flemington Showgrounds on Sunday 20th July

The Show's organisers are also encouraging owners of rare Australian sports cars and specials, such as Elfins, Bolwells, Purvis Eureka, Nota and Ascort models, to take part in the Show as part of a special display.

Gates open at 9.30am for display cars, with entries on the day costing $12 per vehicle (two occupants).

I have arranged a club display. Please RSVP to me to be a part of this fabulous day.
We will be meeting at Macdonalds Carpark on Racecourse rd at 9am .

Kind of makes you proud to be an aussie.

Define "neighbours"-shouldn't that be anyone within a 3 block radius?

Considering that I no longer have to travel for work I might be able to come along to this one but I suppose that means cleaning my car and finding another set of wheels as these ones have been on for a while.....................

Congratulations to Joe who took out the best modern ford category at the show today.

The numbers were extremely disappointing- half of last year at best, but with the crappy weather it wasn't surprising. A heap of cars left by lunchtime, so they did the trophies earlier than planned.

Am uploading pics now, will post some shortly....................

He cheated- he took someone else's......

Which brings me to the only not so good side to today - the warmest bestest goodest acest heartfelt wishes to our VP, who is currently residing in the Coronary Care unit in hospital.......... hopefully Keithy will be home tomorrow, so we wish him more than just well..

Keithy should be okay- fingers crossed he will be home tomorrow.....

I told him to think of the positive- he got to watch the V8's in peace...... (they have "quiet" time between 2:30 and 4:30 - just not sure if the hosp's term quiet time is the same as his....)

A bit of racetape and we fixed the sign...... so that must be our alias.
