Default XP retractable seatbelts

hi
id like to put retractable seatbelts in my falcon XP ute can anyone help me out as the easiest way to go keeping the rego boys happy.

I dont know what the rules are for where you are but in vic if the car was manufactured before 1970 no seatbelts are needed.

Ring your local rego authority and ask them who in your state is licensed to install seat belts

You can buy new seatbelts through autobarn. I put retractables into the XT ute, replacing the normal ones using the same mounting bolt holes. Work well, can't see why you'd have any dramas doing the same, they can only be safer than what was there before.

Does the XP have existiing mount holes?

someone had just put bolt through the door pillars on my xp. I was hopeing to fill them up as it looks with the ends of the bolts showing.

that someone was henry ford..(not personally, factory.)
no real planning went in to it, i think it was to keep up with the market.
according to my owners manual, it was an option to have safety belts?
