So, I've gotten hold of a decent sized tank. Which I am gonna use for reptiles.
I've settled on getting a bearded dragon. Now, Been doing a lot of reading about caring for them, etc. What do I need to know, etc etc? License? How do I get one? What equipment will I need? Just everything really. Don't wanna do this half arsed. Cheers

Just call your local EPA, wildlife office, they will tell you what is required.
It's quite simple these days - took 15 years of hard work by some enthusiasts to make licensing up here so simple.

We asked him if the engine had actually been called “Seagull” and how that came about. “Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”. |

If the tank is all glass its not very good for thermal regulation and reptiles like it to be warm.
I keep snakes in NSW which to me are easier to keep than lizards, as lizards need daily feeding. Here are a few Australian sites you might like to check out for lizard information. http://www.aussiepythons.com/ http://www.aussiereptilekeeper.com/ |
