You just have to look at his starts to prove he is not a drug cheat. Hes one of the slowest off the mark.
He pegs them back with his larger stride (Already been said I know). Sure there are hundreds of athletes dodging the drug systems.. But you cant just pick every freakish winner and say they are on drugs... Its all genetics with Bolt... Well done to him.

just watched the 4x100 mens relay and what an awesome display!! 3 runs for usain bolt and 3 golds and 3 world records. they smashed this one by 3 tenths which in this sport is a fair margin.
speaking of margins, it was daylight second. powell ran well and looked awesome. 11:50pm here with wife and daughter in bed asleep and i'm having to really stop myself from cheering. easily tops phelps for athlete of the games. after watching what happened in the womens i was pretty nervous for them and it looked very dodgy on the handover to bolt but they got the job done. just awesome. |

obviously the rolling starts make a fair difference. 37.1 divided by 4 is 9.275 each. not too shabby.
bolt should have a crack at the 400. he gets a big enough lead over 200 to be able to hold them out for a while. |

Yeah just saw it here too.
What an awesome run. The newspapers here are saying that he should be a little bit considerate to his opponents and congratulate them, and that he's a little cocky because he dances after the race. Let him do it, I say. He's only young and he's new at this. He'll come off cloud 9 in a couple of weeks.

That, and he's probably worked bloody hard for it too. Genetics may be some form of potential, but potential is meaningless if you don't use it to your advantage. Glad to see Mr Bolt has. Great to see him stride and beat the pants off the rest.

Now the IOC President is giving him a bagging...
http://news.ninemsn.com.au/olympics/...aspx?id=619689 What a tool. Fastest man in the world being told how to behave himself. The only thing I would agree on is the shaking hands bit at the end of the race. But If I was him, I would be doing the chicken dance at the end of the race and loving every minute of it... |

Wonder if Maurice Greene is getting his "GOAT" (Greatest of All Time) tattoo removed by laser....
The men's sprint finals are by the far the most entertaining in my opinion. I love all the testoterone and attitude of the sprinters, reminds me of boxing All this aside, I think we may see some more of his own records tumble over the coming years |

the 100m must be getting close to its limit in terms of possible time for a human to run it but i believe bolt has a 9.6 in him if he pushes all the way.
the 200m record may last for as long or longer than the johnson one unless bolt improves it himself which is possible as he's only young. its one cracker of a record though. many thought johnson's would stand for ever it was that good. i really think he should have a crack at the 400m. would have to be competitive. |
