Default Wiring loom

Just had a friend ask for contact details of who to see about wiring up an xm in Brisbane.
He has original wiring, its been removed from the car, reckons it looks ordinary & is wondering what he should do.

I reckon go an aftermarket kit or see if you can get the wiring loom from an EB, ED, EF or something. The wiring will be newer and there will be more fuses for extra devices such as stereo's etc.
