With my AU if i'm doing 100kmh on the speedo, GPS reads 97 with new tyres, 94 with need-to-be-replaced-today tyres. So i always do 105 on the speedo, that way i'm pretty much dead on.

Now here is the problem with having much more accurate speed measurement by GPS. Those self proclaimed guardians of public safety that use their car speedo's to police us all (and save us from certain death) by sitting on 'their limit' in the right lane, just make it a whole lot worse when they are using a car that indicates 100 at 91. So not only are the blocking your lane out of some perverted sense of civic duty (or more likely self righteousness), they are stopping you from driving at what is likely to be a neo-conserverative speed limit in the first place. Your typical self proclaimed guardian of public safety, or SPGOPS, by the very nature of their demographic are not as likely to have one of the 'new fangled GPS thingo's'.
Bummer.
