i was just wondering, i installed some blue led headlights, (only the low beam, 1st setting headlights) in my focus, they look awesome, but are they illegal to drive with, in victoria.

Another blue zetec.... nice....I'm afraid I don't know the answer to that... I've that any changes to headlights is illegal but alot of people do it. led's and xid xenons are fairly common and the audi's are now stock with led parkers so I'm guessing it's ok......I do know however that globes above 4000k are illegal.

Parkers any other colour than white are illegal, LED or not.
so yeah blue/red/green/whatever colour parkers that arent white are illegal in all states.

 I experimented with the same a few years back and didn't leave them in. Coppers have a bit of a tantrum at people that have their special coloured light on another car.I recon they'd be illegal, but if you look at the ADRs, theres a section regarding headlights, which allows up to a 10mm blue coloured lens. But it goes on to say that light emitted must be white... If you decide to keep them in, make sure you keep your low beams on as well when on public roads, just to not attract attention to yourself.
