Bought used 2001 Ka Collection 2 yrs ago. Soon after, noticed clutch was slipping. Clutch was replaced under warranty. Now its slipping again, after just 2 yrs and 40,000km.
Is this common?? Also, Workshop Manual shows the inaccessible slave cylinder has no adjustment (other than pedal travel), but does have a 1-bar pressure pre-load valve to hold the release bearing against the pressure plate. Is it possible this pre-load valve is applying too much pressure, thus simulating riding the clutch????? Thanks Pemo |
