Default Trip to Valla GT show November 1st 2nd

Plans are in motion now for this year’s trip to Valla for the annual GT show at Nambucca Heads. We will be meeting at the food for less car park at 5:15 PM and departing at 5:30 PM on the 31st of October. We will be also stopping at the BP Clybucca at aprox 6:40 PM to pick up more members, and then through to Nambucca. We have made arrangements for us to stay at the White Albatros caravan park at Nambucca Heads, this is a class park right by the sea, and with a tavern at the front gate. Those that wish to go, a $40.00 deposit is needed (per camp site) as we have to pay a deposit for the 15 sites that we have booked. Price is $32.00 per night (per site / powered) Cabins are from $55.00 to $85.00, if you are intending on staying in a cabin, you have to make your own booking. We will be attending the show on Saturday morning and then heading off to the pub with no beer for a counter meal lunch. Latter on in the afternoon we will be heading to Valla beach caravan park to look at the boot sale. As this is the first amount of information given for Valla, there is 15 sites available. As always, it is first in first serve. Those that want to go, you can contact Melissa Cameron on 0406658461 or melissacameron2@bigpond.com More information will be posted soon.

Sure is Trent. And welcome to Ford Forums. 1) You can drop into my work and give me $40.00 cash. 2) Post a cheque or money order made out to the " Mid North Coast Ford Owners Club " for $40.00. 3) Internet bank transfer BSB 802-214 ACC 114693 ACC NAME: Mid North Coast Ford Owners Club Inc. And make sure you put Trent in the reference box. If you pay by internet, just give myself (0423420078) or Steve Jubb (0412925888) a call and let one of us know that you have paid via internet transfer for Valla. Look forward to see you on the trip...its a good one.

Bookings are now CLOSED for this event. If there is any other members that want to make a late call and go, you will have to make your own personal booking at the caravan park. There is a group of us traveling up Friday lunch time and setting up camp, and hitting the grog early and getting first use of the pool. At the moment the group will depart Port at around 12.00 PM, if you are interested in travaling in this group, give me a call.
Lunch Group so far:
Myself and Mim
Swan Family
Peter Garstang
Trent and Steve (possibly)
Tex
Joolz & Dave

gee you guys are staying well away from the main action arent you?

the only thing you guys will be close to is the show n shine for the first half of saturday.

you should have looked at camp sites at Valla Park itself. Forget the cabins, they are booked out years prior.

We have wanted to stay at Valla Beach caravan park for the past 2 years. Its a long story, but in the end we would be more welcome at the park we are staying at. Ask Geoff Day for finer details. Myself and the Vice President have been invited to attend the after event committee meeting, so who knows, maybe next year.

I dont know what the issues are that are stopping you guys from going to Valla Park itself. PM me if you prefer to discuss it off site.

You guys should be able to just hire out campsites as you see fit, I did this a few years ago with no questions asked. I wasnt in any GT club then, hell, I didnt even take my GT down.
This should be fine, irrespective of anyones wishes.
When the GT guys do Valla, less than half the campsite areas are taken up. When the Hot Rods go, you should see how much more can be fit in the place.

As I said, campsites should be definantly doable, cabins are a diffrent kettle of fish.

I dont know what Geoff Day has to do with it, but he dosent speak for all the clubs.

Valla is put on by a diffrent club each year.
This yr is Bris GT Club, last was Invarelle, before then was FGTCONSW, yr before that was Newcastle from memory. Next I would say is our turn G.C. GT Club.

Hi just thought I'd say that your cars looked hot when I passed you on my way up to taylors arm. I hope there wasn't too much wrong with the XY saw it on the side of road with the bonnet up on my way back, would have stopped to help out but had no tools in the car and looked like there was a pretty good size suport crew on hand already.

He busted a heater hose. I had to go into town to try and buy some basic 5/8 heater hose. Do you think i can get any? NOT A CHANCE, went to all the servo's in Macksville with no luck, headed into Nambucca, and still no luck. Thank god that one of the guys on the side of the road went to one of the farm house's and we finnaly got some seconed hand heater hose to get him back on the road. Pretty sad that you cannot get 5/8 heater hose in Macksville or Nambucca on a Saturday avo. :
