At least your not stupid enough to pay $100+ dollars for a used one like the idots on eBay. There's one selling for $70+ dollars ATM with a couple of days to go. Idiots!

edit: Click here for above mentioned eBay auction. Again, idiots!
Some poor bustard by the user name "bigblockbourbon" just won that item. Just told him the good news. You can buy it from your friendly local ford dealer for $30.00 -$45.00. silly buggers.

Got mine for my AU1 forte I6 from Maughtein Ford in Adelaide for $ 31.20.
K&N Panel Filter for $98 from Autobarn.
It's what i call the 2 minute mod. Two screws, twist and pull then push and rescrew the new one in.

The ford dealer across the road just quoted me $55 for the tickford snorkel!! Is there a difference between the T series snorkel & standard XR 6/8?

I think the price depends on the ford dealer.. The dealer up were wanted $52 for the snorkel.. So I have never been back to get any parts from him.. I got mine over the net for $42 incl. postage to my front door..

Now I didn't have any snorkel fitted to my Fairmont. But since fitting a Tickford snorkel it won't run right when on lpg. Petrol is OK. So I wonder is there less air flow with a snorkel? By the way it cost $30 ordered from local Ford dealer.

I got mine for about $33 ... and I got a Redline panel filter for about $85.

Made a difference in throttle response in the EGAS motor ... and I found economy was better as well ... definitely better response though ... cheap mod with drivability gains.

Well worth it IMHO.

The next best more is replacing the intake pipe between the airbox and throttle body to a mandrel bent pipe ... decent gains there (just over 5rwkw).
