THE Fiesta has rear fogs, the Mazda will see your kids crushed, or other rear seat passengers, - if your caught in heavy rain or fog on the open-road and your hit by 76yo Majorie Watson who cannot see you in time.

No offence:-)

Yes, the Mazda looks good, but what use it being a hooker when the insides (le specs) are rotten??

Is that a dealer demo vehicle? If so which dealer?

We only have one Ford dealer here and they didn't know when they'd get their first new model Fiesta.

Great to see cruise control comes standard on the LX and Zetec.

She has decided to definitely wait for the Fiesta which im pushing for

She is also interested in waiting for the Hyundai i20 though :( Her friend has an i30 and she loves it. Personally if she buys a Hyundai i'll have to re-evaluate our relationship :P

Good to hear on the wait for the fiesta. The hyundai - well the ladies look for quite different things in cars so.... In all honesty the hyundais are bad cars these days, and the i30 is quite good. But the standard of car isn't up there with the fiesta/mazda 2. I see the fiesta just missed out on european car of the year (by one vote damit!!!) Illustrates the standard of the car.

No it would have been a Salesperson drive day with Ford. Cars aren't launched until January.

Albeit second to a GM car :S Opel Insignia. 1 vote though is very unfortunate.

I enquired today at our local Ford dealer, and they told us they'd have one in 3 weeks that we could take for a test drive (so early December).

I've seen 2 at work, a silver one and a blue one, and they look sharp. A big visual improvement over the old Fiesta and way better looking than the Mazda 2.
