Default What's coming up on TV thread

How about a thread that lets others know about automotive shows coming up on TV or Foxtel etc?

I hate it when a mate says "Did you see such & such" on tele on the weekend and your kicking yourself you missed it.

For instance, the East Coast Targa is on Ch 10 at 3.00 this arvo (for Sydney viewers anyway).

This is a once only telecast with no second chance to see it again as opposed to say weekly shows like Speedweek.

Just get the Herald Sun and look in Cars Guide every Friday. A list of everything automotive for the week. Herald Sun and Cars Guide is in Melbourne/Vic, don't know about the other states.

I actually saw that East Coast Targa today. And a great idea by the way.

how difficult would it be to set it up so it shows what shows will be coming up as per what state your in?

The forum does have a calender system, where events can be updated, this can be an option

LRP (Lead Replacement Petrol) is being phased out (if not already) as of 01/01/05.

i'm not sure that is what it will be about. Theres that and then there's a possibility of having to get a Roadworthy every 12 months for old cars.

Either way i thought it might be good for classic car owners to have a look at.

Not a bad idea, can we perhaps have it like a scrolling updater across a part of the site window or something?
