Talking Oh baby!

Literally!

At 1:21am on 21/1/09 my Parter, Jess, gave birth our son to Jaiden Mathew after a very short 3 hour labor! His measurements were 7lb 7oz, 51cm long and Head Circumference of 37cm. Other than being slightly “over cooked” and having a chesty cough, all is well.

For those of your girlies out there wanting gory details he was born still inside the Caul, meaning that her waters never broke and Jaiden actually came out inside the Membrane! The nurses were quite astounded as this is very rare (less than 1 in 1000) and there are many tales and stories that children born this way are destined to do great things and bring great luck! (hell with his father he will need all the help he can get…. Hehehe)

Some piccies below, including his very appropriately coloured cot :

Couple of mins old:

When he finally decided to have a sleep!

At home this afternoon in his new blue cot (well, it was white before i decided a respray was in order!)

Needless to say I am over the moon! :sm_headba

Thanks guys!

Lol Dan, I said the same thing to jess, i wanted to photoshop in a "Fresh baby - $39.99kg" sign, she just didn't share my sense of humor..

Jaiden is our second we have a 2 year old daughter.

Couldn't agree more tha Jack, nothing like seeing a life come into the world to change your perspective on life!

He was already kicking his mum everytime i started or he we went in the AU before he was born, so definatly gonna be a ford man! And in just over a month he will embark on his first ford cruise

“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.
