Never thought I would say this, but Google, now have changed their policies.
Google now has changed their policies on advertising, they have up'd the ante. 20 webpage searches this morning, resulted into leading me in to an advertising website and not the info I was after. Even after showing me that the info was there. WTF. (note : just do it yourself, you'll be amazed at the websites, you'll find, full of advertising) Google now has gone to the dogs! EDIT: I have found now, you have to double click the link in order to get to your page. WTF!?? I tried 2 webpage searches and all I got was a X-MEN trailer video and a link to the ozeshopmall.com.au. website... Last edited by Spanrz; 24-01-2009 at 10:58 AM. |

Hmm, no problem here.
Just tried 5 different subjects with Opera and Firefox and got sent straight to the page, no advertising involved. Maybe you've picked up a nasty wog? what browser are you using?

Already checked for nasties (3 times over). I do have Firefox, so I'll try that now. Though a lot of websites just wont work with Firefox. ( some of my work websites, only work with IE) Seems Yahoo also wants "some action" too. Yeah, I want my up sized thanks. 40" will be fine! Is that all Yahoo can offer? EDIT: Go to Google, type in "mdf skirting boards", and click on the results. Don't just click on 1, but click on a few. Tell me your results. FIREFOX just returned with the same result as IE, but not as many times, did it redirect. Last edited by Spanrz; 24-01-2009 at 11:26 AM. |

MDF skirting works fine for me, you have a browser hacker.
Run this to get rid of it : http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe More info here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/comb...o-use-combofix |

Tried 2 different programs, no diff. Tried my anti-viral stuff, no detections. Going to try and get rid of IE and Firefox, maybe something embedded. Dunno. I'll reload the software. |

It's not Google. 1st 3 sites brought up by Google for MDF Skirting boards led me to their intended destination. It's definitely your end.

Did you do it in safe mode ? I had a browser hijack a few months ago, combo fix nailed it first go after all the usual programs failed.
You may have Vundo , see thread here: http://fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=11246316 Last edited by Falcon Coupe; 24-01-2009 at 01:11 PM. |

No toolbar. Just thru the webpage itself.
OK, I think I found it. Some pr!ck, decides they want to change files on a download package. I downloaded Teamspeak and some bugger decides to package some DNS changes in it, don't they. After checking each drive, the teamspeak DIR came back with weird result. Said Teamspeak was invalid in it's filesize. The teamspeak file differed from the one off the main website. Did some checking, found it changed some reg settings to the DNS. I just knew there had to be a sinister plot to it all. So I had to recheck my DNS settings. Apparently it changed them to use this particular server (in the Ukraine of all places). Hence the results. Shifty buggers. Thanks for your input, I just had to be sure, the sites you were getting were the same results as I was getting. Rechecked settings in registry, all good. |

Teamspeak was known to have stuff like that in it, but one of the people I was playing with at the time showed me what to delete before I ran the program.
