Under firefox, latest version... This error is displayed:
------------------- Content Encoding Error (content_encoding_error) Server response could not be decoded using encoding type returned by server. This is typically caused by a Web Site presenting a content encoding header of one type, and then encoding the data differently. For assistance, contact your network support team. ------------------- It is not actually firefox stopping me from accessing the website, it is the network I am on. However, should be looked at, if you have two different header types. Cheers

I also tested firefox at home, on a more open internet restriction, and same problem. So it is a ffau/firefox problem.
And technically, IE8 hasn't been released yet. It's still a beta, so you will get errors with that burnz. Cheers

Just ran several version of ff and ie and dont have this issue over several PC's

The encoding is ISO-8859-1 from what my browser info is showing. I don't have anything to read the HTTP headers though. I'm using FF and have no problems.

try disabling any addons that you have,one at a time till you find which one is causing the problem.tools-add ons-extensions,then restart firefox.
This stopped my firefox from crashing on some sites.(had no probs with ff though)My problems started after the last major update a few weeks ago. |

I did some research, and it is actually a Proxy security setting, which cannot be altered, and it is because of the scripting of the forum.
