I live in Adelaide sth aust and was wondering where the best place is to get a ford probe 1996 100000 km service would be any help would be appreciated! thanks.

100k is a big one, including the timing belt from memory. Got ours done at the local Ultratune with no problems for about $750.00 a few years back and no problems; other than their lightharded grumbling about the access!

Find yourself a good mechanic and discuss with him what is required - parts wise - and then order everything from Rockauto and you will save yourself a lot of money. Most mechanics who are any good will be happy to do this for you. Mechanics are like any good tradesman - when you find a good one stick to him like glue.

There should be a problem with parts as mechanically the Probe is the same as the 626 & Telstars of the same vintage. It does pay to shop around though. Don't for get to get quotes from Ford & Mazda dealers too, I have heard of some surprising deals from time to time.
