Default Capriciation - The 40/20 Anniversary

Just thought I'd start pushing this special event again since we're now past the festive season! Anyone planning on attending should complete the entry form found at the website and get it in with payment by February 7th to allow for confirmation of bookings, etc.

Website address is: www.capriciation.org.au

PS. So far we have entrants from QLD, NSW, ACT, VIC, TAS and SA!

God willing the GT will be back together by then and looking forward to the cruise from Adelaide and the sight of many many Mk1 Capris.
Are there many going from SA because it may be possible to cruise to Wagga together. Anyone interested?
Any coming over from the west I believe it has a strong Capri following over there?

There is one couple registered thus far from Adelaide bringing over their V6GT. No starters yet from WA, though there is some interest, however the distance may be too big an ask for them.

Guys, we now have a problem!

You see, we are now over-subscribed (max.80) for the Good Friday, Meet and Greet with more than 90 attending this event AND, we are also over-subscribed (max. 90) for the Easter Saturday, Dinner/Trivia night, with 95 attending.

So, anyone wishing to come to Wagga at Easter for Capriciation will need to be aware that we cannot take any more bookings for these 2 major events, sorry! The numbers have exceeded my own expectations.

There will however be over 60 Capri's on show at Bolton Park on Easter Sunday, with room for more, though YOU MUST complete an entry form and pay the $20 entry fee and post it to us immediately, in order to gain access to Bolton Park on the day and, there are also a couple of cruises which are being held on the Easter Saturday. A total of nine trophies will be handed out on Easter Sunday at the Show 'n' Shine, however you must be registered to have a chance of winning a trophy!

Capri's registered include, a Consul, numerous Mk.1 1600s, 3000GTs and modifieds, a Perana, up to 6 RS3100s, various Mk.2s and Mk3s and a number of Convertibles, all in all, a feast of Capri's!

Visit www.capriciation.org.au for more information.

I hope to see many of you there, cheers, Terry

Hi Russell, I'm sending out electronic confirmations to all those who sent me their e-mail address. Those who didn't will receive snail mail and those who are not attending the Friday Meet and Greet will receive some goodies via post also. Numbers entered are now closing in on 70 Capri's with nearly 100 at both the Meet and Greet and the Dinner/Trivia night. See you there!

Im trying to get a mate in the club to bring his GT over as its in completely original condition.
It used to live at Birdwood Museum and has only 40,000 genuine miles. So he's not over pleased to add those sort of miles on it but sees the value in being there.
If he can get a mate to milk while he's away he should make it so hope to add another from South Oz.
Catch you there.
