Default Site doesn't work from Europe

I was in europe for 5 weeks and could not access this site. It wouldn't allow to load at all, when I came home, everything was fine...

Is this site blocked for overseas users?

A lot of European IP blocks are not permitted to access the site due to the sheer volume of spammers that originate from them coupled with the fact that legitimate traffic from them is near non existent.

Using a proxy is NOT a sound idea, any public proxy traffic we see tends to result in a ban.
