Default Please help!

Gday

My dad has come home tonight in his AUI Ghia and his back left door does not lock. We can't work out how to take off the trim to hopefully look it manually??

You can temporarily fix this by removing the rod between the outer handle and the lock mechanism. Before you do this though, enusre that the child lock is not activated on the door. ie you need to be able to open the door using the interior handle.

The real fix is a new gear and/or motor in the actuator. Prices vary from $15 off eBay to $200 odd through Ford (for the newer BA style one plus AU to BA harness adapter).
