Gday all ,looking for ideas for some getaway spots in Victoria/bottom N.S.W. Some where thats kid friendly, for eg a holiday house or camp ground ,that is the bees knees.
Rain forest/beach basically that secret spot that has it all

Camp ground in Sofala is pretty good if you wanna trek it there. It's about 30-40mins from Bathurst, right on a little creek that passes by. Lots of space and pretty flat. Some hills to drive up and down on if you've got a 4wd(or a Bedford like my mate tried)
nice drive out there too. A bit cold there at the moment though

Along the south coast of NSW is gorgeous.... I am a regular holidayer up at Merimbula/Pambula/Eden and always have an awesome time.. If you love fishing and surfing you'll love these areas

picnic point, near mathoura between echuca and deniliquin. plenty of accommadation or camping, its on the murray and is a beutiful spot.

OK going to explore the dandenong ranges then after that will start to explore the great ocean rd that will keep me busy for a few months of weekend getaways for awhile
