I have a central locking remote (pre-smartlock) for my EB, and normally when you press the button, it'll lock/unlock the doors, and activate the immobiliser/alarm.
Anyhoo, tonight, when I press the button, only the immob/alarm works! The central locking works fine if I actually use the key in the lock, but it doesn't seem to work with the remote button anymore. I fitted my EBII climate control module just before as well, so I suspect I may have disturbed some wires behind it when stuffing it back in the cavity. Could anyone give me some tips regarding this problem? Thanks -Dave- |

Problem "fixed", after driving to uni, it decided to work :-/
No idea what's goin on here, there must be a dodgy connection somewhere that had gotten loose & needed a drive to make the connection work again (bump/vibration?) -Dave- |

hmmmm, I have central locking for me EA (pre smartlock, obviously)...however it only locks/unlocks the front 2 doors...is there any way to "modify" it so it works with the rear doors too?

it may well have been set-up that way selekta.
you will need to remove the doortrims on the rear doors to see if they have any actuators installed. |

lol actually it's "come back" again. Seems that whenever the car is sitting for a while, the doors won't unlock/lock when the remote is used. But if I've just driven the car, both locking AND unlocking work!
As ya said Dezza, must be an E-Series thing! -Dave- |

lol nah I can live with it ;)
After all, I have come up with a theory which involves a highly complicated formula: Mod your car = your car becomes dodgy :Reverend: |
