Hi All,
I would like your input. I'm completing my Mechanical Engineering degree and will be starting my final project soon. I have the opportunity to design a 'trumpet' to place ontop of the 32/36 Weber to assist airflow. The design would be flowbench tested and dyno tested to prove its effectiveness. Would you purchase such an item if it was available? How much would you be willing to pay? What kind of requirements would you have of the item? Your answers to these questions will help in choosing a design. Cheers! |

Hey mate. There are a few designs available that i have seen, some better than others.
Few things i would want in the design to consider purchasing... Would have to attach to the air filter mount bolts or similar. Not the choke plate shaft as some do, i dont run a choke. Would have to come finished, as in not rough cast with bolt holes that need drilling etc. Pricewise i think i would pay up to about $100 max for something with proven flow figures. Some ive seen in the UK are from 40-100 pounds. Aaron |
