Hi all,
One of my mates is going to look at an XR4 on the weekend. This one infact: http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/...aspx?R=6656875 Anything he should be looking out for? Any common parts that fail on the XR4s or any known problems that he should be aware? Also, the car has a sunroof, I didn't know that was a factory option? Thanks |

Makes my WS look like a hairdressers car...
Seems a bit expensive, even taking into account the sunroof? In Toowoomba they had a November 2007 XR4 (white with blue) for 17,500 + and it only had 8,000km. Still looks the tits though!

Perhaps head over here ..
http://www.fordfiestaxr4.com/ and here .. http://www.fordxr4.com/ and have a read through the forums for any problems owners have experienced with their XR4's .... in general they are a pretty tough and proven car in Europe where they are of course known as the Fiesta ST Personally I wouldn't be buying one with a sunroof either .. just my 2c worth. |

Sunroof wasn't available from factory so be looking for receipts and warranties for it. In general they're a good little unit, biggest drama with mine was the CD stacker giving up the ghost but that was sorted under warranty.
