Eddie has posted in the "Focus" thread about getting out to Oran Park to see Darren Best get out on the track in his ST170.

I have been corresponding with Darren and his wife, Treena and I am sure he wouldn't mind the presence of a few Euroford Club members. There was a display of roadcars set-up in the paddock at E.C. for another club who were supporting another competitor (also a good mate of mine) and I'd have to see about the possibility of a similar set-up at Oran Park. At least we have a Club Banner now!

Lets make this a EUROFORD CLUB EVENT!

Days out at the track are great fun, a lot of eye candy, with plenty of picture opportunities of the cars getting around on the track and in the pits. In my experience you get much better access to the track and cars at these race meetings as opposed to the V8 Supercars. Usually the cost of entry for these events is pretty reasonable too.

If we get a keen group together and it works out as a fun day the last and final round is at Eastern Creek 3-4 December 2005 so lets look at doing that track day too.

I'm in. Willing to bring my car for a display while we learn about Darrens world of racing, have the banner to bring too.

Also willing to bring anything else that might help him out, I'm looking forward to the day. I know Eddie will be there for sure.
