Default Is it just me or site playing up?

The last few days I've had intermittent problems with the site not loading or being really slow. Specifically at the moment its working, although 'New Posts' and 'Search' is just giving me the message that I can only search every 15sec (and its been 30min at least).

Just checking its not just me?

It was doing it to me before. I cleared my cookies but that did sfa. I went away for an hour and it seems to be working now. I think it just needs to reset itself which is normally about 45-60mins.

Site was down for about 15 mins or so a little while ago, that might have been it.

Default Me too

I keep getting a page saying the server cannot be contacted. A Safari glitch maybe?

I tried all the advice here but the pages sporadically refuse to load and I have to go back a few steps.

Default Me too, Pt. 2

Safari can't open page "..." because the server where this page is located isn't responding.

FYI.

The Server Crash aside...just before and ever since, I am having no end of trouble with the site. Whenever I try to navigate, the page hangs, does not load and I get an error message like:

Safari can’t open the page.
Safari can’t open the page “http://fordforums.com.au/newreply.ph...e=1&p=2736304” because the server where this page is located isn’t responding.

I usually have to select 'show the previous page' and then move forward again. It happens regardless of what page I am on and can also happen during posting.

I tried using Explorer 8 for about a fortnight as well but the same thing happens. This site/forum is the only one I have this kind of difficulty with as well.

I've tried emptying the cache and clearing cookies on both browsers to no avail.

Any suggestions / recommendations?

Firefox:

The connection has timed out

The server at www.fordforums.com.au is taking too long to respond.
* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Any other suggestions? I know a bit about computers, been punching screens for years - but I'm not exactly a Rocket Surgeon when it comes to the nitty gritty.
