has anyone tried or heard about this product? it somehow adjusts signals from a solonoid and smooths auto gear changes. I'm thinking I should probably stay the hell away.

They work well, alot of people swear by them, but if you do your research you can build our own for the cost of parts

I had a switchable one in my eb when it was still auto... worked pretty well and cheap. Check out www.shiftkits.com.au

thanks. for 40 bucks I might jsut give it a go. just worried it would reduce the life of the gearbox. it's a bit clunky as it is.

on that site they recon it reduces wear thus giving it more life
i'm lookin into gettin a shift kit 2 |

If the Change is a little clunky, it might be time to look at an OIL change and a new filter? Does help a little. Just dont add any of those TRANS additives? Sometimes do more damage than good.
