Default Engineers certificate

So what's involved in getting an engineers certificate. I have a Mechanical Engineering degree. Can I qualify my work as engineered. I'm just asking out of curiosity, don't need anything engineered at the moment...maybe in the future.

To sign off mods you need to be accredited with the state rego authority - talk to them about what requirements they have
