hi i jus wanna have a chat with someone who has done this conversion as i am considering to do it to my 1600 but i really wanna learn about it first coz i have no clue. any help would be much appreciated.

What sort of throttle body? Single? Quad?

Not much off the shelf for a 1600, maybe a twin weber manifold with quad t/b's from any of the companies that makes quads to suit side draught weber mounting pattern. Otherwise modify something from another car and make a manifold to suit. Or try Ea falcon TBi on a GT inlet manifold.
Plenty of options, and lots of info available online. I've went with motor bike t/b's, pretty cheap compared to whats else is available if you can do alot of the work yourself.

I'm also looking at injecting a 1600. I hear that Kawasaki quad throttle bodies are a common choice
