Default short throw shifter

hey all wondering if i should put a short throw shifter in my xr8 ute.

has anyone got one? how much are they worth?

any help and opinons please

Do you mean just a shortened lever? If so, they're about $50 from BPT and Herrods, IIRC. If you mean the sure shift mechanism, that's around the $500 mark.

Or make your own for the price of a hacksaw blade/grinder disc, and an aftermarket gear knob. If you have a welder, you can chop a section out, weld the top and bottom bits back together and still use the factory knob.

Got my lever from BPT for $110ish delivered from WA a few years back.

thought of making a custom one. but i dont mind spending the money on a proper one.
i love my ute she desrves the best haha!
