Default Weber 32/36 issues

So here is my prob. When I put my foot down and open the secondary barrel the car struggles like a chronic smoker...most notably in the 2000-3000rpm range. Its nice and smooth just on one barrel.

I dismantled the carby (weber 32/36), cleared all passages and put a kit through it so thats not the problem. Performance is the same as before the rebuild. Checked for vacuum leaks and didnt find any. Timing and points are spot on.

Leads me to think it might be a jetting problem. Both barrels have exactly the same jets. Setup is as follows:

idles 50
mains 140
air correctors 170
venturis 3.5
emulsions F50

Should the secondary be running larger jets? Engine is stock. Help much appreciated!

ahh.. i recently rebuilt mine, and wrote down all the jets, but lost the paper..
but most of the jets were pretty similar from memory.
i think i had 4.5 primary and 3.5 secondary venturis,
55 and 50 idles
f50 emulsions
and mains and air correctors were same for primary, but different for secondary?
pretty much stock engine too.
