There seem to be plenty of new cars that have low front bumpers/plastic lips.

Having always had lowered/performance cars I'm used to taking driveways etc on larger angles to stop scraping... Its the same with the front of the Fiesta.

Just have to be careful... Even though it can be annoying... And those cement strips are just too high... You always have to stop short with those.

Got these bad boys installed yesterday, I have taken some pics on my digital camera. Will post them up tonight for you all.

They have made a HUGE improvement to the car, it has dropped around 30-35mm all round. There is hardly any gap between the top of the tyre and the guard. The ride it a little firmer and I notice more bumps now through the car, but that is to be expected with the springs. In the future I will get new shocks for the ride height.

If anyone is thinking of lowering their Fiesta I strongly recommend these springs through Dave (Zetec Dave) as he was very helpful and provides great customer service and price. Cheers Dave!!

Sweet, what size wheels do you have? Will this be alright on 15s, or will it lower it way too much?

Cheers for that Vision Zetec. Hope you enjoy your rides new stance, looks and performance.

From memory Vision Zetec had the standard 16" alloy wheels.

The spring set will lower your vehicle by 35mm and applies to all WS Fiesta models.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Dave

Here they are:
sorry the car is dirty, it was raining all day :(

Oh and I also debadged the Fez too, I'm really happy with that too! I used a cable tie which worked a treat.

Looks the biz, but my driveway is a shocker (look of my WP's rear bumper!) so not for me. If only council made curbs so that normal cars, along with massive 4WD's, could handle them!

Looks great man. Makes the standard rims look so much tighter too.

Vision Zetec - it looks awesome! Are you going to leave it it is for now, or processing to get chrome rims on?

The bug has well and truly bitten me!

My good mate of a mechanic (who installed the springs really cheaply, that place I showed you in Ringwood Dave!) has ordered a straight through muffler to replace the one on the back. I'm not after an over the top note but just a more decent one than stock, will report back this Friday when I get it done.

Not sure what to do about the tip tho, we are thinking leaving it hidden to complement the tidy/de-badged look at the back. What do you guys think?

Anyone know a good quality tint place? I'm looking into getting darkest legal tint but I don't want something that will bubble in a few weeks. My mate said something about people who come out to you but I don't know if they are any good or not. I reckon with the set of wheels I'm looking at, Zetec Dave's springs and window tint, my Morello CL should look quite nice.

Thanks much.

Yup. I got QLD darkest legal tint, look mint. Anyone who gets bubbles in your tint these days doesn't know what they are doing, honestly. Minor bubbles can always be fixed by the tinter anyway, but Tint-A-Car did mine are they were great. $200.00 cash, no bubbles and a real quality job. This is in Toowoomba.

Wow thats cheap and a lucky co-incidence because I have $200 burning a hole in my wallet at the moment. Also there is a tint a car in a nearby town, I'll see if I can get down this weekend. Did you get "Midnight Express"?

Darkest legal tint is what I asked for. Tint-A-Car in Toowoomba is linked with Signs On Time, and they make all our signs, logos etc, so that's why it was bloody cheap. Retailed for just under $400.00. Very happy with the price, service and look.

Rapid the darkest legal tint tint-a-car do is midnight express
which is i presume you have it was $250 on special a month ago
i enqiured about it yesterday at the toowoomba branch and now they
want $395 and my car for 4hrs but there fully booked out every saturday for atleast 3 month would only be able to squeeze me in through the week which is impossible for me so a mate at work has arranged with a mate of his who does it for a living to do mine saturday morning for $190 with 10yr gaurantee but i do remember you saying you have some sort of deal with them and your work so you got a discount.

Great minds think alike! Your spot on, White with dark tint looks mint, but your dark blue could be overpowered by dark tint, maybe a stage lighter. You may have the bade car man, but by the time your finished you'll have an absolute winner of a rig! Top stuff.
