Kinda, you unscrew the old EB one and screw on new EF-EL one, getting the rod the selects the gears the correct length is a bit more tricky. You either need to make a new one or add to your current EB rod. I bought my EF T-bar with an already modded rod

Mrngo, I did that to my EB. I added an inch roll pin inside the handle and made adjustment with the nut and it looks quite good Will have to get some picks of my car and post. It isnt *sic* as you blokes say but it isnt too bad

If you could do that it would be great. Really interested in the idea now.

Yeah, there is nothing wrong with a towbar and mudflaps. I have them on my car as well. Whenever I wash my car, I am amazed at the amount of mud that comes off my mudflaps... now picture the amount of mud that would be all over my duco without them. As for the towbar, I was rear-ended by a 2wd Hilux back in 03'. The towbar saved the back of my car. My slightly damaged rear bumper and small dint on the bootlid were nothing compared to the wreck of a Hilux

Hey Dave, what'd you do with your original EB shifter? I know they look a lot nicer than the older XF/EA version

Nice. If I get a new t-bar, i'd be able to replace it when I fix my dodgy, sloppy shifter setup. Kill two birds with one stone.

I will probably be there. If not, I'll let you know. I just put my name down for it so I'll try to make it. Cheers
