Default unable to follow links

I was looking through the for sale notices in the bseries forums and it wouldnt let me follow the links.
in fact its never once let me follow any of those links.
It just shows some vBulletin message which gives me a list of reasons why the problem could be occuring (none of which seem to apply to me)
I've asked a few people who point me in a direction, however no-one so far has actually been able to fix it. Hope someone can help.
cheers,
Matt

Depending how old they are and if the item has been sold, the for sale threads are moved to the deleted area after the transaction has been done.

You would not be able to view these links (Hence the vBulletin message), was it all or just the older ones, as a test you could start with the newest links and see if they work.
