Default disappearing threads

What happens to some of these threads? What happened to the thread about the speeding article in the age today? It seemed to me to be good discussion about the possibility of raising the speed limit on our better freeways. I am fairly new to the forum so I don't know too much about what articles get deleted and why.

Hi Kircher. Welcome aboard. Hope you like the view

There are several reasons why threads are removed.

They may be against site Terms and Conditions.

http://www.fordforums.com.au/announc...nouncementid=2

Or they are not deemed to be a suitable topic for the area they are posted in.

You will find the mods on this forum are fantastic and use discretion when choosing whether or not to close a thread. As there is alot of member on here, some topics can turn into heated discussions rather quickly...

Hope this helps

Cheers
Coll

If you want to find out why a particular thread was closed, its best to ask a mod or admin through PM ....

In this case, the thread went off in a very different tangent and had nothing to do with intial topic.
