So this is by no means new, i'm after QLD knowledge here
When i was little i remember heading up the coast with the family and going over the pine river bridge and seeing the sunken barge, on your left as you're heading north. Now i never managed to catch the full story about it (20 years on). Does anyone know what happened? Why it's still there? You can still see the tip of it, however it is much much smaller (read: more sunken) than it ever has been.

Sorry the replys have been a little confusing mr hardware, I knew what you meant straight away; a falcon or fairlane "barge" certainly wouldn't have been big enough to still show after 20 years.
Anyway perhaps google it, bit of a hit and miss though but worth just having a browse, you'd be surprised what's been documented on there.
