So, I need to run the air intake from the 80mm hole left by the removal of the lower resonator to the passenger side fog light panel.
How do these panels come out? Just prise them out or push from the back? I intend cutting slots in this panel for the fresh air to get in, then paint the lower part of both these panels on the front bumper, black. What's best to cut the plastic with? Jigsaw, handheld fret saw? Got plenty of sandpaper and files to clean it up with. Fredo

Dremel tool is good. Close to Christmas too, if you dont already have one!
Look, there's a tonne of easy ways to cut plastic. You can even use a soldering iron to cut through, all be it slowly, many plastics, then trim with a knife. Small notches is the way to go, cause you cant put it back on! - well not so easily. Definately take the panel off though. If you can make a "jig" to hold it, including a guide for where you intend to cut, you'll have less chance of "colouring outside the lines". You can make that out of cardboard. Maybe mark it out with a white pencil too. Just take your time. Failing that, but the $99.00 fog lamps for your model on Egay at the moment, then put the lamps and other bezel back on Egay!. Already cut for you. Have fun. Let us see the pics when you're done.

I've used a fine hacksaw blade successfully. Dremel can be hard to use. You have to keep the speed down. In some applications I've found a razor sharp utility knife to be very effective

You don't necessarlily need to go spend 100 bucks on a dremel. Bunnings sell an Ozito branded rotary tool which is pretty much the same thing, paid about $40 bucks for it in a kit. had one for a few years and it's seem some pretty hard use. comes with a meter long flex extension that will make things easier.Use the thin cutting wheels (be carefule they break v/easy), then use a sharp stanley knife to trim the edges.
