really no more deaths per capita during the school holidays than any other weekend on the road, we just hear about it more due to media focus.

you should, by rights always be driving to suit conditions thus being safe but driving defensively due to the increased numbers of 'once a year' drivers isnt a bad message.

as for TAC ads... id rather stick my hand in a blender than sit through a compliation of ad's that either dont make sence, promote their own agenda or just remind me of what happens when your a moron.

and could someone please define what 'safe driving' is? or if i stick to the speed limit everything will be ok?.... *yes i am taking the *

Good vid - hopefully everyone get's home safely over Christmas, but unfortunately history shows that will not be the case.

Safety driving campaigns are or will be in force on our tv screens shortly promoting the obvious - safe driving over Christmas for me equates to packing the beast away and not driving, family come over to our place and stay for the Christmas festivities, it also helps that they also live close by.

Gave away the long distance trips a fair while ago - not worth it, use my own local beach now instead of travelling 5 - 6 hours to use someone elses local beach.

Anyway, enough of the maudlin stuff - it's Chrissy, have a good one :
