Default Spoiler paint fading

There is a streak about 60cm long along the spoiler where it has faded. I’ve tried polishing the car numerous times but it doesn’t seem to be fixing the problem. Is there anything I can do to fix it? If I buy touch up paint from ford will it fix it or does touch up paint just work for scratches?

Cheers

touch up paint will stick out like dogs bollocks, you need to spray it by the sounds of it.

Touch up paint is really only for small (the width of a paper clip / chicken wire) scratches and blemishes. If applied correctly it can be relatively discreet, but for a 60cm streak on a spoiler, I agree with 347mont, it will stand out.

Save yourself the trouble and get a quote on having it sprayed. You don't have to go to the panel shop either - try the mobile paint repair people.

I've noticed you're in Melbourne - I had these guys fix a nasty scratch on my LH doors, did a reasonable job too. www.autopaintfix.com.au - Peter will come out and give you a free quote.

take it off. it'll not only save drag and weight but it won't look terrible anymore and your boot struts will last longer!
